Point Dume is a family neighborhood made of predominately of single family homes that sit on rather large parcels of land. The area has a rural feel to it, as it lacks street lights and sidewalks. Surrounding beaches include Westward beach, Zuma Beach and the coveted, private "Big Dume" beach.
